Set at the heart of Toddington Station, the Cotswold Halt Café is a little different from our other refreshment spots. While cafés across the railway are proudly run by volunteers and open on running days, the Cotswold Halt Café offers extended opening hours and welcomes visitors even on some days when trains aren’t running.
That makes it a favourite not just with railway visitors, but with walkers, locals and regulars who enjoy calling in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a slice of cake — steam train or not.
With the sound of locomotives on running days and the calm of the station on quieter ones, it’s a relaxed, welcoming place to pause, refuel and enjoy the surroundings at any time of year.
What’s on the Menu

It’s relaxed, unfussy food — just right after a walk, between train rides, or as a treat during your visit.
